Alliance Futbol Club and Meridian Youth Soccer Association are proud to announce our newly refined player pathway and strategic partnership with Birmingham United Soccer Association!!!

AFC and MYSO, over the past decade, have developed and enhanced programs in every step of the player development pathway, which now creates an unmatched system of progression for our players. This pathway starts with recreational introduction play, transitions into academy style youth training, progresses into competitive team play and then culminates at the highest levels of individual and team play in the United States.

Historically, MYSO has been one of the largest youth recreational programs in the state of Mississippi and is a longstanding member of United States Youth Soccer, as well as Mississippi Soccer Association. Our recreational program targets, specifically, U4-U12 youth players and offers competitive leagues with volunteer coaches during the fall and spring of the year.

The Alliance Futbol Club Academy Program offers professional training to U6-U8 players, with a goal of creating specific skills foundations and introduction into higher levels of future play.

Alliance Futbol Club’s competitive team play begins at U9 and continues through U19, offering professional and consistent coaching, high level competitive tournament play, and high level state league competition. Also, because of AFC’s longstanding member status with USYS (United States Youth Soccer) and MSA (Mississippi Soccer Association), our players are eligible to tryout and participate in the highly touted US Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP).

Alliance Futbol Club’s highest levels of play begin at U13 and are separated by two potential pathways, which are designed specifically to best serve the player.

 Elite competitive team play is a pathway whereby Alliance Futbol Club teams win their way into USYS’s coveted regional conference, via state league competition. Our particular region conference is called the Mid-South Conference and is a prized achievement only available to the top 8 teams in a 6 state region. This highly touted regional level of play gives birth to national opportunities and college exposure at the highest levels offered in the USYS system. In the past, AFC has had two teams ascend to this exceptional achievement, being the 02 and 07 girls (finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively in the league).

Elite individual player development is a pathway whereby individual Alliance Futbol Club players are discovered and tryout opportunities are coordinated via our new club partnership program. In this  program, our players will join the highly competitive teams at Birmingham United Soccer Association and compete in the prestigious ECNL and ECRL (Elite Clubs National League and Elite Clubs Regional League), which is the very highest level of play via US Club Soccer’s competitive player pyramid in the United States. Furthermore, like USYS’s conference and national league play US Club’s ECNL and ECRL offers unprecedented exposure to college coaches and playing opportunities against the very best teams in the country. BUSA’s historic program success in the ECNL produces dozens of college scholarships each year, as well as promotion opportunities to numerous professional programs in the USL, MLS, and other leagues overseas, as well as promotion the US Youth National Team!

 This summation AFC and MYSO’s player pathway, with the addition of this very exciting partnership with BUSA will create unmatched development and exposure opportunities at the very highest levels available in the United States.
